Hello everyone,
I'm looking for moderators for this new forum. Here are the moderators I need:
-Stock Car Racing moderator
-Open-Wheel Racing moderator
-Touring/Sports Car Racing moderator
-Historical Races moderator
-Track Discussion moderator
-Driver Discussion moderator
-Crewchief Discussion moderator
-Owner Discussion moderator
-Fantasy Racing moderator
-General Discussion moderator
EDIT: We also need 2 overall moderators: a global moderator and another overall moderator.
If you are interested, please send me a personal message telling me which board you'd like to moderate. Ideally, I'd like to have one moderator for each board. However, if I cannot find enough, I will allow people to be moderators for more than one board. I may also be reaching out to people who I feel have a deep knowledge of a certain area to moderate that board. I will do this through personal messages, so be sure to check those periodically. I will also update this list as we find moderators for each board.

I'm here. I'd be interested in being a moderator for one of the sections eventually, but I'd like to see how things play out first. Going to go back to bed now since my 10:00 class got cancelled today, I'll get my account set up and all that later.

Please welcome 3 new moderators:
Canadianfan is our Global Moderator. He will do essentially what I do.
Mile501 is our overall Moderator: He will also do essentially what I do.
diburritomelon9 is our Track Discussion Moderator. He will update the track pages on that board. Only he can create threads in that section, so let him know if you want to see a track added. Anyone can comment on the track threads.

Our new Driver Discussion Moderator is chevyfan98! Let him know if you want him to create a page for a specific driver, because only he & the staff can create driver pages. Anyone can comment on a driver's page after it has been created.

I could do Historical Racing but I'm not personally sure I'd make a good moderator. I've never had that kind of responsibility before and I don't know how well I would handle it. But I guess I could give it a try.
I also admit a lot of my knowledge on racing history is primarily North American stock car/open wheel racing, not quite on the up-and-up with F1 and others.

That's fine. We have other mods to help out. Suburbanshaman is already a mod for that section, though. I think you're definitely responsible enough, we just need to get rid of the posts that violate our guidelines. Would you be interested in doing Open-Wheel Racing, Touring/Sports Car Racing, Crewchief Discussion or Fantasy Racing instead? |
