I don't expect much out of that team. It seems like they don't have a whole lot of funding and have too many irons in the fire, so to speak. They ought to just concentrate on IndyCar right now.

I was worried when they split up the top class. It seemed like they needed to put some more thought into it so that both classes could have more cars.

But thats the thing, there was no thought about it. IMSA has spent the past couple year monkeying around with balance of power rules to even out the DPi's and LMP2's. Every time one build of car got hosed, those teams, makes, and sponsors got unhappy. IMSA had to so something.

Seems like, after some down years, two of the three major American motorsports are on the upswing. They stuck with what they had always done, and now are reaping the rewards. One of the three didn't...now look where that one is.
