My final 4 prediction:
Cole Custer - Texas winner Daniel Hemric - points Tyler Reddick - points Elliott Sadler - points
I think someone not in the top 8 playoff spots will win at ISM.

Top 4 in non-playoff standings:
1st: Daniel Hemric (+12) 2nd: Cole Custer (ADVANCED) 3rd: Justin Allgaier (-12) 4th: Christopher Bell (-34)
2/4 top-4 drivers are currently out of the playoffs. It seems highly unlikely that they will both be able to race their way back in. Bell can really only do it through a win, and if he does win, that basically eliminates either Hemric or Allgaier. The only way all 4 of these guys make the final 4 is if Reddick & Sadler both have issues.

For those of you not following on reddit JD Motorsports has been helping to get one of Morgan Shepherd's cars ready for Phoenix. From the comments over the last 2 days it is a composite body and a former CGR car that Chip gave him last year and one of 3 cars Morgan has which includes the car he crashed in Texas. Morgan borrowed Houff's backup which will be a Phoenix

I'm so glad that JD Motorsports is helping Morgan. I'd like to see him run at least one more full race before he retires. I know that probably won't be Phoenix, but hopefully it can happen at Homestead, since it sounds like his team may go out of business in the offseason or early in 2019.

I wonder what Austin Cindric's "just cause" will be this weekend when he tries to take out all the other 7 championship contenders to get himself locked into Homestead?

This one is tricky. Sadler and Custer definitely deserve to to make the final 4. Hemric, Allgaier, and Bell deserve to be there to but only two can make it. Based on that I would like to see Bell win at Phoenix and Reddick and sadly Hemric have a bad day so Allgaier can get in.

I don't think Sadler's deserving of a final 4 spot. If it were the 4 most deserving drivers, it'd be Hemric, Custer, Allgaier & Bell. I'm hoping that Bell, Hemric & Sadler can all get in, but that seems like a long shot.

Agreed. It would be interesting if he finally won the championship this season, when he hasn't been as deserving, after missing out the last couple of years when he scored the most points (if I remember correctly). Even though he currently leads the points because of this crazy system, Tyler Reddick is not deserving of being in the final four. Five drivers have clearly set themselves apart from everyone else this season: Hemric, Custer, Allgaier, Bell, and Sadler. Ideally, 4 of those 5 should make it to the final four at Homestead. But realistically, based on how things look now, it's unfortunately not going to turn out that way.

I hope Bell can get the job done at Homestead! This is the first time my favorite driver in each series is in the final race for the championship.
