Post your predictions here for the IMSA WeatherTech Series race at Daytona!
Include your predictions for the podium (top 3) finishers in the P, GTLM, and GTD classes. These same predictions will also count toward rounds 1-4 of the NAEC Fantasy League.
Entries are due by 2:35 PM ET on Saturday, January 26, 2019. No entries will be accepted after this time unless the start of the race is delayed. If you post your entry early, you can make changes before the deadline.
As of this posting, the entry list includes the following teams:
P: 5 6 7 10 31 50 54 55 77 84 85
GTLM: 3 4 24 25 62 66 67 911 912
GTD: 8 9 11 12 13 14 19 29 33 44 46 47 48 51 57 63 71 73 86 88 96 99 540

IMSA WeatherTech Fantasy League 2019 - Complete Rules
* This contest will be held for all 12 events on the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship calendar. Prior to each race, you should post your predictions for who will finish on the podium (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) in each of the three classes. You will be able to post your predictions in the form of a comment to a blog that I will post for each race, approximately 5 to 7 days prior to the race.
* The deadline will be the listed start time of the race on imsa.com. Entries will not be accepted after this time under any circumstances (unless the start of the race is delayed for some reason). You are permitted to make changes to your predictions at any time before the deadline.
* Scoring will be based on the following chart. This league will include championship battles in each of the three classes as well as an overall championship based on each participant's total point total across the three classes. The point structure has been modified from last year to place an emphasis on correctly picking the teams who finish on the podium. You will earn 25 points for each team you pick that finishes on the podium, plus a 5-point bonus for a correct 2nd or 3rd-place prediction and a 15-point bonus for predicting the correct winner. A perfect prediction in any class earns 100 points.
Note: Due to the very small class size expected this year, the LMP2 class will not be part of this contest.
* The results released by IMSA after the conclusion of the race will be used to calculate scores. If any cars are penalized at a later point in time (due to drive-time violations, for example), that change in the official results will NOT change the scores in this contest.
* If you miss a race, your most recent set of picks will be reused, with a penalty of 5 points times the number of consecutive missed races. Should this result in a score of zero or below, you will receive 1 point.
* If there are one or more errors within your set of picks for any reason (such as changes to the entry list, typing an incorrect car number, or reusing picks from a previous race due to an absence), those car(s) will be replaced in your picks with the lowest-finishing car(s) in that class. Any such changes will carry over into future rounds if you continue to have consecutive absences.
* Anyone who enters the contest after the first race will receive a beginning score, in each class, of the sum of 5 points less than the lowest score for each missed race.
* A parallel contest, the NAEC Fantasy League, will operate along with the IMSA Fantasy League. For the 4 endurance races, points will be awarded using the same point structure shown above at the time intervals designated by IMSA for those races. All of the same rules apply to both contests, and your same picks will be used for both contests.
* If you have any questions, please post them in the comments! Anyone is welcome to join, and I look forward to another competitive season!
