Wednesday night is a Stanley Cup Finals rematch. Although I'm not sure if it qualifies as a rematch if only one team showed up the last time. #Quickie

I thought this was supposed to be the year where the Cryers finally took that next step and went from being a borderline playoff team to a true contender? (Just like the last three years).

The Caps have their own team 💯. Ovechkin and Kuznetsov are going to be borderline unstoppable together these next few years, and then I know we're in good hands for the post-Ovi era (something I would’ve never said as recently as a year ago) with Kuzy signed through 2024.

Looking like the Stars are on pace for another mediocre season. I had high hopes with Seguin re-signed and a new coach, but the current Stars kind of remind me of the LA Clippers recently. They've got a bunch of good players, but those guys are never going to be good enough to really contend seriously for a championship for whatever reason.

We’re not that good so far this year, but I wouldn’t worry about it for at least another two months or so. We always start out slow but then go on a tear in December/January, and this is essentially the exact same team that won the cup but minus Wilson until he’s off his suspension.

Tom Wilson might have the lowest sports IQ of anyone I've ever watched on one of my teams, and that's saying something considering the Redskins once employed DeSean Jackson. I'll never understand the infatuation most Caps fans have for this guy, every single one of them would hate his guts if he were on a different team. A shame because he's actually really good when he's focused on playing hockey and not trying to end peoples' careers.
