Resumption of the old thread.
Shouldn't be much of a battle this year as GSW has 5 all stars and will likely roll to the finals. Who knows, though, maybe Boston will be a spoiler.

Just saw something that made me laugh way too hard:
LeBron is good but he’ll never be as good as Michael Jackson. When Michael Jackson played for the Bulls they called the entire starting lineup the Jackson 5. Do they call the Lakers starting lineup the LeBron 5?

So have the Mavs, and we haven't even played a game. Too bad we can't be in the East, we'd actually have a shot at like a 5-8 seed.

We got a gift getting to play the Heat (who are on a back-to-back) as our opener. So knowing the Wizards we'll lose to them, and then turn around and beat Toronto.

The Mavs are losing against the Suns. I'm not cheering for us to lose, but if we end up getting our top-5 protected pick, I won't be disappointed.

Basketball-Reference is stat geek heaven, how did I not know about it until now? I've spent the last hour or so making player season search queries where John Wall is the only player in NBA history to reach certain quotas.
And holy crap this Jazz/Warriors game is insane.
