With him presumably being confirmed in the 95, and the team switching to Toyota, it worked out for DiBenedetto to leave Go Fas without anything lined up.

I wonder where sponsorship will come from, though. LFR seems to generate their own sponsorship for the most part. Procore was there for some races last year before becoming the main sponsor this year, and then there's all the stuff like WRL that I think Leavine owns.

WRL and Procore are tied. They're essentially the same deal because WRL uses Procore for business stuff.

Yeah, and maybe Toyota could sponsor them for a few races like they do with Jones. They seem to be pretty good about getting all their sponsor-hungry teams to the track, even in the lower series. Can-Am will be unlikely to follow, but they should have enough sponsorship to cover that.
I'm also interested to see what Go Fas does. I believe they'll certainly regress in terms of performance. Last year, they indicated they may be interested in expanding to 2 cars in 2019, and if they did that, Joey Gase would be their 2nd driver (for a #33 car.) Not sure if that's still in the plans, though. Alex Labbe will also be rumored for this ride, since he has a history with the team and the sponsor.

This seems to be a good move for all involved parties. DiBenedetto gets a ride upgrade and LFR gets more competitive cars. I'm not sure that they'll rise to the level of Furniture Row, but they'll at least be better than they are now.
I'm also curious who the crew chief will be. The team had an average finish of 24.0 under Travis Mack; it's been 20.7 since Jon Leonard took over the car. A big part of FRR's success was Cole Pearn, so finding a good crew chief will be paramount if they want to continue to improve. I can only imagine they success they could possibly have next year if Todd Parrott was still the crew chief.

I wonder if it's possible that DiBenedetto could switch over to LFR before the end of the season, since Kahne's already gone. Talladega's probably his last chance for a good run in the 32 car, but after that, I wouldn't be too surprised to see him go to the 95. Doubt it'll happen, though.

Unfortunately it sounds like Regan Smith will be in that car for the remainder of the year. Nothing against him but they should give someone else who has potential a chance to prove themselves... we already know what Regan is capable of.

In 2015, the year before FRR switched to Toyota, Cole Pearn became crew chief and the team made it to the final four. That's an outstanding example of how important it is to find the right people. It wasn't the switch to Toyota that elevated FRR; it was finding the right crew chief (and possibly other things behind the scenes along with that).
