Well, that’s not at all what I expected, but good for Matt.
Now this probably means that Suarez is either going to the 41 or somewhere else, as JGR would be stupid to not bring Truex in-house.
Also things now come full circle since he was a former JGR development driver and it sounds like LFR will surely be aligned with Gibbs.

That's awesome if true. And if they're getting a JGR alliance I wouldn't be surprised if he sneaks into the chase.

Seems like most of the drivers were against the track bar adjuster at the time it was introduced and are happy that it is gone.

DiBenedetto's arrival means that Bell will probably be kept in-house. Which means that barring a massive increase in performance, Hamlin will likely be out in 2020. Unless Jones misses the chase, which would make him the odd man out.
This probably also means that Suarez will be in the #41, ending Jamie Mac's hopes for a 2019 season.

That's pretty cool to see for DiBenedetto. I think he could have a much better 2019, especially depending on if LFR gets an alliance.
And I think Suarez will be a good fit for the #41 too. I'm looking forward to seeing him in that machine.

Kind of glad the in-car track bar adjuster is going away. Seemed like it took a bit of driver focus away from the on track action by having them fiddle around switching it back and forth for straights & turns.

Ladies and gentlemen, Michael Waltrip!
Can't tell which is worse. His tweets or his ability to run a race team.

I am glad it's going away. The addition of the driver-adjustable trackbar really decreased the amount of comers and goers in most races. Before its existence, you had to set your car up for the beginning, middle or end of a run. You'd only be good in that one portion of the run, and had to manage your stuff the rest of the time. It was harder to drive the cars.
