It really isn't that surprising when you think about it though. It seems like there's been trouble in paradise between them for a while and with Jimmie not running as well something had to change, I also kind of think the sport has evolved enough now to where guys like Chad have been overtaken by your more engineering focused Cole Pearns of the world.There’s a problem with that theory though: If Chad has been overtaken by others and is over the hill, why would they stick him with Byron, an up and coming driver? |

If I had to take a guess I would say a East series race and a Truck race. I know the all-star race has been floated as a possibility as well.

Great to see Peak back as a primary sponsor in the Cup Series, and in F1 as well. That's cool to see them want to be involved with both.

There's rumors that are picking up speed that are saying Gatorade will sponsor Johnson starting in 2019. That would be awesome to see IMO.

I just want him to have a good sponsor for most of the season. The 48 is an iconic car, and it should look good and promote a good brand that people actually know and care about.
